Picture this: artists from around the world gather in an intimate venue more akin to a living room, than a giant theatre. Where the most celebrated artists, entertainers, and performers meet to share and express freely. Light bites, libations and conversation add to the stimulating atmosphere. The lights find a comfortable low. Music begins. Our host TANSY welcomes us into her world of creative exploration. And explore we shall.

From the magic of world-renowned magicians to the elegance of Met Opera singers and the seduction of burlesque stars, the salon brings together a variety of talent in an environment designed for intimacy and indulgence, in a place where its always safe to misbehave.

Tansy (an international burlesque star and respected creative producer) began the Polite Society salon series in 2021 at Lady Mendl’s Tea Salon, which provided a perfect victorian backdrop for the artist salon renaissance. It ran for two sold out years, before moving to its new residency at So & So’s Piano Bar at The Romer Hotel.

Now Tansy also produces Parlor Tricks; New York City’s Burlesque & Magic Spectacle at Chelsea Living Room. Where critically acclaimed magician Mark Clearview joins forces with Tansy to create a refined experience as memorable as the accompanying caviar.
