Founder

TANSY is a New York City cultural fixture and internationally acclaimed burlesque artist, named among the Top 50 Burlesque Performers in the world. She is celebrated for her theatrical finesse; blending sensuality, wit, and visual storytelling.

As the founder and curator of Polite Society, TANSY has spent the past three years cultivating intimate performance salons that bring together world-renowned artists across disciplines. Her work explores the intersection of performance, curation, and culture as she has spoken on panels in Washington, D.C. about art as resistance. When not onstage, she is deeply engaged in New York’s creative landscape—studying its movements, shaping its moments, and making space for artists to gather, provoke, and shine.
